I don't think we have to worry about the loss since we moved to the Amex, as I genuinely believe that Tony has covered it. It's future losses and I think that Barber is dealing with that. As has been said, we will most probably sell some more season tickets before the start of the season (if we haven't already).

the FACT that the club (and clearly most Tony Bloom) have been able to spend £150m+ on stadium and training facilities, and produce somewhere between £5m and £15m to cover trading losses for the past 10 or more seasons, leads me to feel pretty comfortable with where we are right now.

great as tb is can he cover stadium £100 training facility £30 plus the loss of £30 million £160 million so far and the extra sponsorship might just cover a dip in ticket sales? And no reason to think we will not lose money this year

You have to remember that although some season tickets are not renewed, many of these supporters will still turn up to some games so you should factor that in

Seats are more likely to be occupied I reckon, it might be the no-show STHs that have finally decided to give them up. 2k also generates much less than a million I'd think, me and junior pay £750 in total approx for 2.

Minus, of course, 17.5% VAT, and 50 odd pounds? for the 'transport levy' - which will all take off almost £150 of that £500 for the club.

100% this, we need a positive exciting summer on the transfer front to show we mean business and we are going for it (top 6) and this will encourage the doubters to renew,

I think we will loose money, until we get to the Premier League. I think Bloom will cover the losses to the amount of FFP. I do think he will invest in areas that increase our revenue though.

One of Barbers buzz phrases seems to be that we will do things intelegently. I think if the hotel and car park happens, that will be classed as intelegent investment, as it will be about increasing revenues (although not the actual football teams).

The one real investment that I would like to see, is the club building a park and ride for Brighton and Hove, with the income from that covering the cost of the travel plan for the Amex, as well as some spaces being reserved for matches. Unfortunatly I think that would cost as much as the Amex did and I don't think he would be willing to invest those amounts again (if he can).

It's bizarre if you take it out of context. I support the club with my time & money, & hope it does well. Worrying solves nothing.

Save very little money on match tickets on tickets v ST, but save a shed load on my Amex bar bill. Use that to fund away games, simples.

Nothing seems to have been mentioned about other 'spends'. If a fan spends an average of £5/game, (and this is a conservative estimate) in a season that is £115. Multiply that by 2000, and you get £230000. Not a lot maybe but it all adds up.

2000 less tickets and you're creeping up to half a million loss from unsold Bevvies and Merch.
