What kind of gauntlet do you imagine they're running. Lorry drivers have to ensure their trailer's padlocked and secured with plastic ties. Before they leave the port they check the ties haven't been tampered with. The horror!

A few managed to get into my nephews lorry once. When he got back to yard and unlocked the trailer he found some scared Iraqi children hiding behind some boxes. Sickening, I know.
yep just imagine coming back through the tunnel opening you car boot as there's a smiling foreigner laying there

I think you'll find the point was more about the fact that the lorry driver themselves are held liable for anyone that successfully manages to hide in their lorry and get in. They can then get a massive fine or even be imprisoned. IMHO that's wrong.

I'm not sure that was Das Reich's point, but I do empathise with that.

I used to work on the lorries and have travelled back through Calais many, many times. It does seem unfair that drivers can be held responsible.

Saying that it's not too much hassle to check the trailer then secure it.

i did see a lorry get pulled over in calais and its 'passengers' helped down from the back, they werent smiling. pretty grim in fact. there are a lot of people to blame for those men being in that position, unfortunately some British people realise their well meaning attitudes mean that they contribute significantly to the human misery of illegal immigration too.

I think you've missed my point there.

To be honest, I wasn't sure what your point was (I didn't know if you were posting a BNP link because you believe them and thought it was a proper source, or if you were nhighlighting the biased nature of the source), but it seemed like the conversation was going on just accepting that they didn't wave the flag and seemed like no one had noticed that link I posted so I was using your post as an excuse to post the link again.

No, I'm having a wild guess here, your answer is they should stay at home like good little brown people and let the nice men murder them?

Bit of a con putting the 'other' National independents party at the top of the ballot paper to confuse a lot of people . Wonder who's idea that was ??? Hope people see through it though unless they want to vote for them of course .
