Reasons why I'm voting for UKIP

As you couldn't be bothered to answer, I have looked up UKIP's employment policy for you.
'UKIP would put an end to most legislation regarding matters such as weekly working hours, holidays … overtime, redundancy or sick pay etc. and provide a statutory, standard, very short employment contract template … those employers who offer relatively generous terms would be able to use this in their advertising and might be able to attract better candidates or pay slightly lower salaries, and the reverse would apply to employers who demand longer working hours, or offer fewer holidays or fewer days’ sick pay etc'.
'UKIP would legislate to ensure the scope of claims which can be heard by tribunals will be greatly reduced. In particular, limits on unfair dismissal and discrimination claims will be re-instated and no unfair dismissals or discrimination claims would be admitted by the Tribunals in respect of employees with less than two years continuous employment'.
So in conclusion, the party you are voting for would actually encourage the situation you described in your previous post by reducing the rights of employees. Let us all hope you do not get what you are voting for.

You forgot to tell me the name of the council that didnt fly a St Georges flag on St Georges day...in case it upset 'muslins'.....
I did ask you which council, particularly that even after answering your questions, you seem to post....i see you didnt answser...

There is not enough housing because successive governments have refused to release land for housing. Why they have done this is open to conjecture but a property lawyer I know believes it is to raise the value of existing property so the old guard can accrue a portfolio of extremely over-valued property. I have no reason not to agree with him.

A town council in Somerset has decided not to fly the St George flag in case it offends the 0.28% of Muslims in the town
Radstock, which contains four churches, united under the umbrella of "Churches together in Radstock" has a population of 5,620, with only 16 of them Muslim, according to the census data.
However, in typical Labour fashion, a councillor said the flag of ENGLAND could upset people because of its links to the Crusades.
University lecturer, Eleanor Jackson, said: ‘My big problem is it is offensive to some Muslims, but even more that it has been hijacked by the far Right.’
Disgustingly, the lily livered council agreed with her suggestion not to purchase a St George’s flag for the town’s recently repaired flagpole.
A Union Flag will now only be flown on Armistice Day,
Lesley Mansell, Chairman of the council said: ‘We do not have a Union Jack and the discussion was about purchasing one to fly mainly for Armistice Day.
‘The council confirmed its original decision to purchase a Union Jack.’
A spokesman for the patriotic group the Royal Society of St George, John Clements, denounced the ridiculous decision for ‘censoring’ the national flag, and playing into the hands of the far Right.
And to prove how bizarre the decision was, Rizwan Ahmed, a spokesman for the Bristol Muslim Cultural Society, said: ‘To say that Muslims are offended I don’t think is correct.
‘We understand the flag is part of this country’s heritage, and in fact many Muslims identify as being British.’
Pensioner and local resident Irene Burchell, 76, added: ‘The council does not speak for the people of Radstock, and it certainly doesn’t speak for me.
‘I think it is absolute nonsense. The St George’s flag has been adopted by England for centuries.’
The rainbow flag of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender pride movement will also be raised at ‘appropriate’ times of the year.

Someone with over 40 years experience in property law expressed an opinion. I thought it was credible. I posted it here. This country desperately needs new housing and has done for decades. I don't happen to believe the line that it's due to immigrants. Anyways, I have posted enough about UKIP and my opinions on them. I'm boring myself now, I'm off down my allotment, my beans need a watering.

The population of this country is increasing, that's a fact, government statistics attribute the largest contributor to that increase as being net inward migration, its another fact.......hence the need for more housing.
Brownfield sites are steadily being released for new housing, but not quick enough because in general terms the planning process is unwieldly.
(Tedious disclaimer)....I don't vote for Ukip.

Radstock council did fly the flag. The decision not to fly it was over turned a couple of days later

If you left out the name of the political party and showed that statement to general members of the public I wonder how many would think it is actually a Conservative policy ?
I would like to think that as we have (effectively) a Conservative government right now, most would realise that this is not one of their policies. We will see whether my faith in the British public is misplaced by the numbers voting for UKIP, I suppose.
