Is it ?
Most of you can't see the wood for the trees.
TB wants BHA to be run within FFP guidelines, true and it won't happen without money being made available through transfer fees. Not sure about that, we are supposedly on target to meet FFP without player sales
Grabban couldn't agree terms, how will Conway take a drop from £20 k a week ?Grabban wanted a longer contract than we wanted to give, so no deal. Who knows about Conway, he may still sign.
Bridcutt,Kuszczak, Buckley and Ulloa not playing / uninterested isn't a coincidence you know. You only have a point about Bridcutt, so coincidence doesn't come into it

Yep, blatant anti-albion spin on everything.

Why is there all this bile about players signing from and to palace

Niel smilie, Gary O Reilly, Eric young, amongst others.

Even when the fans were smashing six bells out of eachother there was never any of this " judas" nonsense.

Players come and go ..get over it.

I'll take a punt on him.

At 24, and a good player on his day, for £2 mill, it's a gamble worth taking. His constant hamstring niggles are worrying, but he would be good back up for Puncheon and Bolassie.

The bigger worry for you is the constant stories of your top players being wanted. With TB not being able/ willing to pay high wages, the replacements will be cheaper or loan players ,Barnes being replaced by Obika should be a worry.
With FFP biting hard, and record losses due to be announced, is TB cashing in his chips ??

Financial Fair Play is something that Palace have never had to worry about.

I'd be a little more worried if our top players weren't wanted. Are many clubs queuing up to buy the Palace, er, "stars"? Or did we miss all those stories?

If we beat Hull on Tuesday we will probably be evens with most bookies.

You'll need to be, with two of your last three games being against Liverpool and City*

Of course you will go from favourites for relegation to evens to stay up after ONE game.

Complete and utter nonsense from the Nigels as usual

One way of looking at it . Anyway it seems you all want rid of your top players as long as " we get top dollar " .

We're only 5/6 as it stands you silly sausage! Not at all unreasonable to think that we'll be evens after another game against relegation rivals.

Not a big problem at all, to be honest. If you look at the sides around us we've actually got one of the easier ends to the season! Look at Norwich (Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, United last 4) or West Ham (City, Spurs, Arsenal in last 5) or Sunderland (United and Chelsea in last 4) etc.

As do most fans at all clubs.

I'd be happy to sell Ulloa for 100 million, but unhappy to sell him for 1 million. Somewhere between the 2 prices there is the happiness threshold.

It all depends on how top the 'top dollar' is.

Some people on here are just mad. We cannot keep selling 1st team squad members. We want promotion, and need players like Buckley to do that

Maybe not at the minute but we got more for Zaha than you will probably get for Bridcutt, Ulloa and Buckley combined.

This could easily be the case yet wilf is useless ?

To be fair though, he is not good enough for Brighton. I mean who is  Not to worry though as all those "Barcelona B players are queueing up to come here".

I said at the time, I knew you'd mug United off for way more money than he was worth. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Zaha's a bad player, far from it, he's obviously good - but vastly overrated by your lot in the same way Bridcutt probably is by a lot of our fans. Zaha was no more impressive in end result last season than Ince or Buckley (who scored more and assisted more), and I certainly don't think either of them would be worth 10m. It's genuinely all credit to your board because I don't personally think any player in this division is worth 10m. He was sold on hype to scouts dizzied by countless stepovers, and that's being proven more and more every game he doesn't feature. In the meantime you've covered your losses for two years, which is a fantastic piece of business.

FWIW I would be staggered if we sold all three players inside the next week. And I think you're wide of the mark, because if we do, we certainly won't be getting mugged off for £2m apiece as a Palace journo might mischieviously suggest. We reportedly turned down £5m from your lot for Ulloa and the same from Swansea for Buckley last window, since when he's signed a long term deal. Bridcutt is frankly a matter of time, and now's the right window to sell him, it's just a matter of the fee. The other two I'd be very surprised if we let go unless it was for stupid money.

I'm not sure how much meat is on the bones of this 'story' but surely Buckley would fail any medical test worth it's salt  Especially if we are talking in the 'millions' for his transfer.

Great on his day and Doncaster WILL never be forgotten but can't see any serious bids coming in during this window.
