A number, yes, 15 no. Your inability to fully understand your native language however has shot you in the foot. As your comment was.....

Again I go to the title of the thread

Palace chairman calls for cheats to be punished....pot/kettle?

The issue is not whether the current punishment for cheats is adequate (there is consensus on that from fans of all clubs, except perhaps Liverpool), but whether Mr Parish's comments were inappropriate given that both Glenn (and we know how good he is at this remember, he did it for us on occasion) and Wilf went to ground too easily, too often.

We're all hypocrites to a degree (Michael Owen v Argentina in the 2002 World Cup for example), but there has to be an element of Caesar's Wife for a club chairman to be spouting on about the issue.

Moyes to his credit (and Taggart too last season), have criticised Young for diving, Parish has never to my knowledge acknowledged any dives from the Tom Daley duo that I referred to earlier.

This sums it up for me, good post EL P.

If you are booked for diving, it is recorded as a caution for "unsporting behaviour". I could go through the records and show you almost all of Zaha's 10 yellow cards last season were for "unsporting behaviour".

The problem is that unsporting behaviour also covers fouls, handballs, shirt pulling, and other events, so one would have to go through match reports and such to work out which offence each caution was for, and I can't personally be bothered.

As others have raised, it's not about how often Zaha was booked for diving, but how often he should have been. It isn't only a dive if someone is carded for it, and a foul being awarded doesn't mean it's not a dive (it's not a coincidence players with reputations for diving - drogba, suarez, bale - were among the most "fouled". When you dive more often than average, you will fool the ref into awarding you free kicks you shouldn't have gotten more often, appearing to be fouled more).

Amazing stat from last season - Palace has a staggering 26(!) more yellow cards shown to the opposition than the next highest team. Top diving!

Cards conceded against

Team Red Cards Yellow Cards Points
Crystal Palace 4 116 128
Cardiff City 5 90 105
Watford 5 89 104
Brighton & Hove Albion 4 87 99

Pressure mounting and the season has hardly started

Of more interest to me is when are Palace going to start shipping loads of goals? Very disappointing so far.

My recollection of newly promoted teams to the Premier is that they do really well initially, probably due to the enthusiasm and excitement of the big stage.....then things taper off. If Palarse have done that the rest of the season looks a bit bleak... what a shame.

top ? not the last time I looked and you got away with it last season just like evry other club does at some stage regardless of what league or position- its cheating and needs to be dealt with and that applies to my club as well- pity you have such a blinkered view of your own club

Just do one you palace bellend. You and your jesters are going to get raped this season by everyone from Fulham to West Brom.

You dived and penalty kicked your way to the Prem, you know it, we know it and the prem referees know it. Your biggest problem is Your Divers in Chief.. I.e Zaha and Judas, are unavailable now so Tithead Parrish and his coiffure are getting all aeriated because you're on the receiving end. I don't remember you bunch of tarts caloing for this last year..oh..I wonder why?

No one here wants you to do well up there, you're not particularly welcome on here either so just take your pathetic opinions to the BBS or start a cheaters support group..the Power of CHRIST compels you...The power of CHRIST compels you..go, palace demon.

Look that was last season , we are a totally different side now and I totally back our co owner in his views on this blatant piece of cheating ! I feel the case for a automatic 5 game ban for a very high boot is more worthy of its own thread . Jesus he could have took the lads eye out !

Ulloa will do his time with good grace. Obviously an accident. Oh, and piss off to BBS please. You're comments aren't welcome or relevant.

Probably time for you to leave the no hopers site and go and play with the big boys I'd have thought?

I wouldn't call you no hopers , far from it . I'd rather play with the big boys on here .

We know for a fact that Murray is a diver , he has won many a penalty when playing for us by dangling his leg out for a fraction of a second and then going to ground as if the other player has made contact.

Yep I think they should now be telling the Swansea fans on their message boards what a great side Palace are and how Swansea will be getting a hoofball lesson at the weekend.

Fair enough, if you're lucky you'll get to play us next season although I'd quite enjoy the Palace angst should you get relegated before we get promoted (obviously against all the odds and with massive good fortune)

I was surprised that Wilf did not get 30 minutes on Saturday. The fact that Moyes preferred Januzaj instead must have raised a few eyebrows. My snouts at OT tell me that Wilf has impressed in training, but there are question marks over his maturity.

After Adnan Januzaj came on as a sub it soon became evident that he is a couple of notches better than Winifred.
