Very dodgy how the (arguably) biggest sports news company have a betting firm which allow odds on such markets, they can feed the masses whatever they like and people will pile money on them.

often think this, i remember them pumping the owen story in the sun and on ssn, whilst everyone went mental on skybet....

Is it worth mentioning that the BBC has not touched this with a barge pole. No mention at all on the website. Certainly sounds like some self-serving SSN gumph to keep their bookies arm ticking over to me.

This.
I thought SSN were always factual, and not the same as the Mirror Group or transfer websites which include out and out lies initiated by individuals without real knowledge.

Poyet isn't going to Reading. Along with QPR, they will be in the Championship next year.

Indeed. That was my take on it too.

The whole issue of SSN having a 'parent company' connection with SkyBet is dodgier than a nine pound note.

Have you tried poker , at least with cards you have a chance of winning
hahahahahaha tres tres funny.

No I haven't tried their poker, and no I won't have a chance of winning!!!!

I like a flutter on the Albion, but I mainly use it to keep abreast of cycling bets.

My love of the game would take a hit,if Gus goes to Reading,it just adds to the madness that some foreign owners, are bringing in,with the likes of Blackburn,Leeds ,Notts Forest etc ,i feel when reality sets in then some of these clubs will just have nowhere to go,and i am sure their fans must be very worried. Poyet must surely reckon ,the Reading job, is a chalice of poison, yes leave us ,Gus but give yourself a chance !!!!!!

If Gus is 1/10 with some bookies to leave, does it follow that he's 10/1 to stay? Worth a punt?

When was the last time you saw a poor bookie?

No that doesn't follow.

It's more likely to be 1/10 leaving even money stays.

Poyet to Reading thread, massively odds on, (maybe) in talks with them [merged]

SSN seemed to have removed the word "overwhelming" and he is now just "the new favourite"

Just helping to get to the 600th posting, on this bogus story.

Bogus story? it`s a betting scam which is successfully carried out every time a football club signs a new manager.Realy needs to be investigated, someone tip the local rag off, the mail will soon pick it up
