Even Reading's local papers - the Chronicle and the Post - are only getting their stories from what the bookies are doing.

Sky have Gus at 4/6 in from 1/7, Adkins in from 4/1 to 7/4.

In the absence of any news from the teams, the bookies are the only people to follow as they are the 'next in line' of people with a vested interest.

a. I believe him that he posted what he did in good faith. Hopefully he will think about his wording more carefully in the future.

b. I've managed to convince myself that the very second I ban him, Gus will be having his picture taken at the Madjeski, in one of those unflattering Waitrose delivery driver coats, that their staff all wear.

That's a point actually - if he does go, I'll have to bin all the lovely food I bought from Waitrose the other day, purely out of principle. Would be a real shame, because that peacock biryani cost me a fortune, and the unicorn escalopes didn't come cheap either.
