Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

Not going well for Cortese is it!?

Firstly, he sacks a Adkins for no legitimate reason and has faced a backlash from fans ever since!

Then he goes and blasts back at Saints legend, Le Tiss, for demonstrating his opinion over the Adkins sacking and claiming "he has no right to comment on these sort of matters". Cortese also branded Le Tiss a coward and that he has an ego problem. Think he's going to regret that one :lolol:

And Le Tiss has hit back, if you follow him on twitter.

But what really makes me laugh is that he thinks Pochettino will make Saints a top 6 team :lolol:

I quite like Matt Le Tissier.

Cortese sounds like, and is acting like a bit of a c*nt. He also has a girls name.

But then again, this is Southampton, so i'm happy to sit and watch it all kick off from the outside.

Standby for the Saints melt down. That fella sounds like a complete tool. I was out the country when Adkins was sacked and thought it was a wind up when I heard. No love for him or Saints, but that was just a plain rediculous decision. Thank god we have a sane owner!

Sounds like a hard and astute businessman but with no tact or charisma, it'll all end in tears.

To be honest, he's the owner and has ploughed a stack of cash into the club so who he hires or fires is up to him.

If I were him though, I'd be very careful when it comes to slating club legends...

Is he the owner or does he just act like it? I thought he was the representative of the family business of the guy who bought the club and died a year or so ago?

Correct

Hmmm...with a name like Cortese, and a position as the face of a "family business", perhaps Le Tissier should be checking his pillow for horses' heads each morning.

I hope Manchester United stick eight past Southampton on Wednesday night and watch their season go into meltdown.

That well known racing trainer and former Saints legend Mick Channon might be the most appropriate target for some burger meat under the duvet given that he also questioned Cortese's ruthless style...........

Haven't heard from Atkins either - is he 'sleeping with the fishes'?

He's probably waiting to get another job before saying more or saving it for his auto biography

....or, he's got a big fat pay off and is under legal obligation not to talk to the media for a specific time, like a kind of gardening leave I reckon.

I think the swimming with the fishies idea is a much more entertaining concept.

Please not I am not wishing Nigel Adkins dead.
