Me too. Can't wait to see the pens. They seem to have had loads of ridiculous ones this season - the one against us, the two against Watford... Good news is that Reading and West Ham could still ensure they miss out on automatic. How sweet it would be to see them lose in the play-offs (preferably against us).

Careful, some people on here don't like it when brighton fans dislike any team other than palace.

Can't stand them - ever since Pardew was their manager. A short time compared to the Palace - for me that goes back to the 70's.

They are unlikeable - but not as much as Palace or Pompey.

They've had 9 penalties so far this season (from what I can see), you had 13 penalties last season so you cannot complain too much.

That's what happens when the top teams in the division play.

According to Merson it was actually a Southampton player who handled on for the 2nd penalty incident. They do seem to get major refereeing decisions almost every game.

If I could be bothered, I'd take my hat off to southampton, they have had a stunning season so far, I doubt even adkins was thinking they'd be at and around the top of the league for so long this season.

Btw, I can't be bothered, so won't.

Dislike them intensely but you have to take your hat off to them.

Lambert was touted as a big fat League One bully but he's proved everyone wrong.

Pains me to say it, but fair play to them

Can't bring myself to say it, I'm afraid. But then I've always hated them. On a par with Palace for me.

Further proof that Richard is carrying them. They'd be round about where we are in the table without him. I've got the graphs to prove it.

I think it's more the fact he's the best finisher in the league and we as a team create chances for him. £1million and 80 odd league goals. Thank you very much Bristol.

Had a couple of spare minutes and just worked out that Lambert has single-handedly earnt Southampton 17 points this season, scoring 4 hattricks along the way.
Impressive, but I can't help but think they'll be too reliant on him next season - that's if they can keep hold of him over the summer!

Carrying you with goals is what I meant. Fair play to the bloke, I just find it annoying seeing his name come up on the scoresheet every week.
