Drive by abusing
Play the players who best suit the system & tactics doesn't matter if its Lampard, Parker or Tom Cleverley. Its about time we stopped picking players on reputation & on their ability.
And as much as it might sadden some Lampard doesn't offer anything to the system we played against Bulgaria. He isn't defensive enough to play the holding role & he doesn't have the pace to play behind Rooney.

More chance of me being manager than Redknapp getting it, he will be in Wormwood Scrubs soon

Can't see anyone else but Rednapp getting the job which is very bad news in my view.

how about bringing heskey on to get goals for us in final part off game, useless imo.

Lol ok

No manager is ever going to be good enough for the England job, because the fans expect to much, to call Capello useless is stupid

I have no problems with Chelsea or Chelsea players, and have stood up for Lampard escpecially on numerous occasions, however anyone can see that Lampard and Terry's England careers will be over at the latest after the Euro's next summer, the emergence of Wilshere and Cleverly of late will see to that, as will Jones and Smalling at Man U see of Terry and Ferdinand for that matter.

The sooner the better i say, Id rather have them all in now, seen as we have now effectively qualified, give all the younger lads a go at the Euro's so they are not Big tournament virgins at the World Cup 2 years later.

Quite right.

Is it just me, or is Stuart Pearce such an obvious candidate for the job? Former captain for club and country, has led the Under 21's to the semi-final and final of the Euro U'21s Championship in recent years, managing the U'21s obviously gives him a greater knowledge of what the youngsters are capable of, already involved in the England coaching setup, as well as being widely respected in the football community. Would inject some passion back into the side IMO. Undoubtedly a man who knows how much of a big deal wearing the Three Lions is.

I never understands why Lampard gets the abuse he does. Time after time he shows up when others dib out through injury. He cares and wants to play unlike many. How many times has Gerrard pulled out of a squad, it has to be in double figures now.

He's a candidate, sure, but not as obvious as Redknapp, although the FA will never see it in the same way they never gave the job to Clough and pushed Venables out after just 2 years

True, he hasn't 'retired' from international football like all his peers do when left out of the team

How the f*** are people STILL touting Harry Redknapp for the England job??

His record for Tottenham over the last 12 months is almost identical to that of Ramos, who was deemed nowhere near good enough and sacked, unceremoniously. Redknapp has spent A LOT of money at Spurs, managed to keep hold of some of their best players, and has the backing of his board and a full stadium every week YET he's not delivering anymore. Tottenham should be a top four/five side but on current evidence they'll be lucky to finish top half.

Lol he was england's best player at world cup, fantastic footballer who gets 20+ goals a season every season for Chelsea, i know hes 33 years old, but the guy is in good nick, does he look 33? No.

England are just shit, not lampard. Good luck replacing lampard with scott parker lmao. Parker cant even kick a ball. Looks like a lost chicken on the field.

Frank is one of the cleanest strikers of the football i have ever seen, along with micheal ballack, gerrard and ronaldo etc.

Barry is a lump of shit.. and you think lampard is slow..

I dont get what a few problems are with John Terry and Frank Lampard, alot of people on here seem to think they should be dropped etc.

People say John Terry is slow etc..yet hes been playing at the top level for 11 years? imagine if he was quick! how good would he be?

Alot of Brighton fans dont like Chelsea or their players.. dont know why..

calm down dreamboy, calm down

I wouldn't mind Wenger getting the job. Plus, in years to come I know a Uruguayan who will be a GIANT in the game & I would love to see England playing his style of football. He's already superior to Cappello & Erikson. (Hope he's with us to build a dynasty though).

Please not Pearce; there's more to management & tactics than passion. I would have more respect if he chinned Cappello during the World Cup when treated like an idiot by that Italian dick. Please just f*** off Cappello.

Publicly warning players about their performance & future. Extremely bad man mangement; the sooner this lame duck useless "coach" leaves, the better. The FA should squirm with embarrassment every time this idiot opens his gob or when he gets another un-earned wedge in his sky rocket.

The FA & Cappello actually make me quite angry.

Well said, bring back McClown and Sven, they have shown their pedigree this season after all.

Lampard has been a hell of a lot more consistent for England than Gerrard has. I think there is still a place for him in the squad, he has a lot of experience and we still need that with the squad.

About time he gets rid. England have no chance of winning Euro 2012 and should be thinking of the future and 2014, so why not bring in younger players now and get them used to internationals.

if england open up and play football they can beat anyone on their day .....the days are depressingly few and far between admittedly , the raw talent has never been an issue ,more like the lack of technique and a basic game plan.
