Sorry to get political but.......

How do you prioritise the tax system, should an asylum sister fill in a self assessment questionnaire?

q1 which of the following events have led to your asylum;

a-Raped by six soldiers (£150)
b-watched my daughter being beheaded (£200)
c-Lost my cashmire carpet go up in smoke (£500)

We are an international country , a member of the eu and signed up to various international treaties. What you are proposing is verging on the line of the BNP. Close our borders and deport non nationals. What we need is a taxation system that doesn't allow bankers / multinationals and developers to get filthy rich why the rest struggle.

Well said.

Oh no, I opened this and got saliva all over the inside of my screen. I hope your hotel has decent cleaners.

Its not one hotel and i manage thier enviromental magement policy and its implementtation, cant comment on the cleaners as they are all non national and shouldnt be here scrounging off the state, beter get some good old fashioned british cleaners, now thats a scary thought. Laptop might be dirty for a while i think.

no i meant indictment, thats why i typed it, you really should have taken note of my earlier advice , as you now look even sillier :dunce:

Indictment
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the common law legal system, an indictment (IPA: /ɪnˈdaɪtmənt/ (in-DITE-ment)) is a formal accusation that a person has committed a criminal offense. In those jurisdictions which retain the concept of a felony, the serious criminal offense would be a felony; those jurisdictions which have abolished the concept of a felony often substitute the concept of an indictable offence, i.e. an offence which requires an indictment.

Traditionally an indictment was handed up by a grand jury, which returned a "true bill" if it found cause to make the charge, or "no bill" if it did not find cause. Most common law jurisdictions (except for much of the United States) have abolished grand juries

How does the word indictment work in your assumptions about the new labour education system, maybe you are a victim of it.

Didnt criticise your speliing of the word (which was perfect), just questioned its context, as inditement or indeed the word indicative would have been more appropriate, bit touchy arent you

Remove estate agent and insert it engineer, your job is irrelevant. Why should you assume i am a socioly student (with the inflected stigma you place on such a person ) is quite puzzling also. I am in fact an operations manager for global hotel chain not that it matters.

Dont worry. I've been accused of being all manner of things by Bushy. A failed public schoolboy being my favourite. The nearest I've ever been to a public school is going past Roedean on the 712.

Charity is supposed to begin at home.

I love that expression, it's become a cliche to use it when talking about subjects like this.

As if there is some kind of scientific fact in it.

( You might as well post "red sky at night...." on any thread relating to the weather.. )

If you look up the source of the expression (of which there are many) you'll find it is probably about remembering to look after your family and frankly NOTHING to with thinking twice about giving money to foreigners.

no , probably due to the " progressive " educational theories introduced by labour governments in the sixties and seventies , which are pretty discredited when you look at the results.

Well the i lay the blame for the current educational malaise (is that word ok) at thatchers door as it was she that brought in the ill fated national curriculum

Worthing
Seven pages so far and nobody has asked the really important question....

If these asylum seekers can get a carpet allowance can they also get a season ticket allowance for Withdean?

I'm sure that Uncle Dick is eagerly awaiting the answer and getting his mailshots ready.
