Yes I did notice that, just hoping after a couple of days they’ll let the rest go to Purchase History. Can’t imagine MyAlbion members buying the remaining tickets.
If it goes to purchase history the last tickets will just get bought up by Man U "fans" who popped along to the Amex or something once.
AKA Twats.
Edit: obviously some actual Brighton fans would buy tickets as well.

I think there are probably lots of fans like me who have years of Purchase History. Presumably it wouldn’t be too difficult to work out who the genuine BHA fans are.

I don’t remember an occasion when they have changed the bandings after it has gone on sale. My guess is no membership no ticket.

Last year four of us went to United, City, Everton and Leeds. Previously overly the past 40+ years we’ve been to Chester, Wrexham, Port Valle, Blackpool, Shrewsbury, Tranmere, Bolton, Wigan, Stockport, Preston, Hull, Wolves etc. etc. Not every BHA fan lives in Sussex and not every BHA fan is a member.The ones that have an ST or a membership?
Given last time I went to Old Trafford I met about 2 Man United fans on the concourse before I lucked out on another Brighton supporter, I'm not unhappy about it if they take a tougher line on this fixture.
Not that I'm going this year for boring clashing with other things reasons.

I know, I don't live in Sussex either (only Hampshire I grant you). Just it may be worth getting a membership if you want to go to away games, especially higher profile ones like Utd away.

Thanks, didn’t know this. We went to United last season, so wonder why they’ve done it differently this season. Seems weird if the club had say 200 left to sell why they then wouldn’t then make them available to fans with fan numbers / purchase history, rather than not sell them at all.

Understandable, there were two United fans behind me last season in the away end. Just think if a fan number has dozens of BHA away games on their purchase history then it would be highly unlikely they’re not a genuine fan. Maybe I’m a bit old fashioned but I can’t quite get my head round paying £28 to be a member to then buy a £30 ticket.
That'd seem reasonable to me if we were still in the Championship, but the club's at a point where a significant number of people actually want to attend our matches, and £30 a season to get a chance to go to pretty much any game north of London (plus the southern games if we happen to be playing down there over Christmas) doesn't seem too bad.
Excluding cup games I think it worked out to £6 per away game for me last season.

We’ve been to every game at Goodison, except the first year in the Premier lLeague. Last season there were hundreds of empty seats and this will probably be the case again if it’s members only. The Scouse Seagulls has about a dozen members but if they have to all buy MyAlbion+ every season to see a couple of games this number will probably drop to two or three. I’ve got no problem with members getting 2-3 days to buy a ticket, but don’t understand why the club wouldn’t then sell the remaining tickets to fans with a Purchase History. No doubt we’ll be welcome to make up the numbers at Burnley.
Well quite, but Burnley don't have quite as many fans who vaguely support them as Man U willing to pick up the spares, that's sort of my point.
Last season's game at Everton was immediately after new year and, if I remember rightly, on the day of a rail strike, which probably had more to do with the number of empty seats than the ticket selling policy. I didn't notice the number of people missing but I was sat quite near the front, so I'll admit it would have been odd if I had.
I was sat behind a bloke from Hong Kong who was primarily there to see Mitoma, so it can't have been too hard to get tickets. (Disclaimer, I'd drunk quite a lot and that might have been a different away game, but I think it was Everton).

I’ve checked with the club this morning, they do add Purchase History if tickets are left, which makes sense. I think this is what we did last year for the United game.

I was interested to see that, as expected, when the tickets first went on sale to the highest loyalty point groups very few were sold in the seating only area.
However Albion + members seem to have bought a good many in that block so either they all want to sit (unlikely i would have thought) or most either missed the notes or chose that block on location alone. Wondering how strictly this will be enforced as i think it is the first time we have had a smaller block seating only and all the rest being safe standing. The thing being that if someone has chosen that area specifically to sit for health reasons etc they will, i think, be quite rightly put out if now surrounded by people choosing to stand and blocking their view.

Is E233 the seated block ? After reading your post I thought I had better check ours and we are in E230 which is safe standing (what we wanted). There is a seated platform at the back. Most of the remaining seats are in 229 which is also safe standing.
