Firle village is really nice, last summer I went for a walk around the village and surrounding countryside, I had been to Firle Place before for an event but not taken much notice of the village.
There is a tea garden on the outskirts of the village called Beanstalk, someone has a large tent in their cottage garden selling tea and cakes, well worth a visit when things get back to normal.

I would rather spend my spare time at places like this than any shopping centre.

Went to Firle last week with Roz to see Lord Bracknell's final resting place.

It was a quiet, light grey kind of summer's day, only the wind rushing through the fully-laden trees, punctuated by the occasional crow. The grass has been allowed to grow over most of the graveyard (except in the Gage's family area), reminiscent of Ed's hair on a bad day. I'm glad I went.

Oh yeah, and Burning Sky brewery is there too.

And for those asking, Roz is fine; she was in good form.

That lot can fudge off.

Bunch of whippet owning, flat cap wearing, mill workers.

It's your loss.
