I'd be a bit sad as I admire how far Colchester got given their very limited circumstances. As far as Hammond goes it seems that his prime objective was to get more money which Colchester offered. As a professional footballer with a limited working life I don't blame him at all for trying to make as much as he can. If he didn't fit into our plans or got injured just how much financial aid would BHA have given him ?
