Anybody who thinks that removing wilkins from the manager position (he was offered the chance to remain as coach) was entirely that of Knight probably won't understand that the major decisions did have Bloom influence at that time as it was just a year before Tony Bloom became chairmanCan you expand please. Have always thought Wilkins had created a decent team out of the waif and strays of Sussex.
As I understand it, there were issues about undertaking key actions that a manager should do e.g handling the retained list conversations, representing the clubs position in contract negotiations etc
