Following on from earlier thread - what do you think ?
1. Peterson - some tough competition from Rust, but the slip against Gillingham (my sides still ache now) has secured the jersey.
2. Munday - "You're crap Munday!" "He's crap any day of the week!"
3. Sturgess - Conference standard at best
4. Codner - for the two seasons immediately before he got banged up - his quality at other times is duly noted.
5. Glenn Thomas - single worst performance ever in an albion shirt but did'nt spoil an otherwise superb stag day!
6. Neal - inherited none of his mothers talent.
7. Wescott - couldnt cross or dribble which blighted his career as a winger.
8. Moralee - ponce
9. Farrington - ponce
10. McDougald - not a bad player but could'nt score goals (see no.7 above)
11. Armstrong - fairy

Manager - Marin Hinselwood Assistant - Barry Lloyd

Harsh on Pethick, who had his moments...

Codner better than David Lee, surely?...

I couldn't take an Albion SHITE XI seriosuly unless it included Damian Hilton, Grant Horscroft & Denny Mundee.

Pethick was good.

Hinshelwood is also responsible for bringing on about 5 of our current first team.

Teddy Maybank on the BENCH at least.

That is nonsense! Teddy Maybank was a quality footballer - he would walk into any Brighton team of the last 15 years.

Not sure if they were the worst but what about "the Fox" brothers, I remember the buzz on the North stand the day one of them played at only 17 I think.....turned out to be a pile of poo......Or Simon Funnell - He was pretty bad as well.. . . . .Andy , Andy Kennedy any one ?

Of the players I have seen.

Probably the worst team so far. Davies, Pony-Johnson and Hilton were absolutely tragic. When each of them signed it created a bit of a buzz but as soon as they'd done ten minutes you just slipped back into Priestfield induced resignation. Hilton made his debut at Barnet and he was about 8 foot tall. The first decent cross came in after about 10 minutes and he ducked underneath it.

Gislasson was as bad. A loan signing from Arsenal and we thought we'd had it right of. Played about 10 games and touched the ball twice.

I saw Westcott the other night at Hastings playing for Horsham and I'm pleased to say that if anything he's got slightly worse. If that was possible.
