What things did you enjoy from the withdean experience? For me the hospitality matches were great,a bit of comfort before,after and at half time but a real footie during the match Not sampled 1901 wrong shoes Also loved the walk to and from withers

Apart from two championships, a play off season and Bobby Zamora the best bit for me about Withdean was that I never felt inclined to part with any money other than my season ticket.

I spend a fortune each match now but love every minute of it.

The pork baguettes before kick-off, which felt about 100 degrees hotter than the air temperature.

Knowing that the opposing fans were suffering even if they were winning.

Apart from that, everything about the Amex is FAR better.

Mrs P preferred when we played at Withers. Not that she went to games, but simply because I got back to the pub earlier instead of hanging around at The Amex for a couple of more beers after every game

Surprisingly good view from the south stand.

leaving the last minute from home to walk down Withdean Road ! used to take 20 mins - now have to leave 1.30 p.m.to walk up Dyke Road for the Park and Ride but its worth it !

The gallows humour that developed between groups of fans sitting together is something I miss.
