A win on Monday against West Ham will take us up to 4th in the table from 12th. I am sure that Gus will be using this as a motivation and start a chase after Southampton with the match against them 4 weeks away.

Big ask mind.

We need to be more ruthless to take chances , in the last few games we haven't taken them and West Ham will definitely make us pay if we don't on Monday.

not sure we have created that many- which is more worrying

exactly , we get as far as the edge of the box and try to pass it in , I know it's probably all part of the big masterplan for Gus but we need to build leads rather then grab a goal and rely on it.

yes thats what i noticed at Millwall - we just werent getting any shots away on goal until harley started having a go to make up for his appalling penalty miss.

and whilst i am on a roll - we go too negative when we go up a goal

see, I've put that down to nerves from both players and supporters

definitely felt that the case vs Palace..

Totally this. Last season we were going and getting the second goal. This season whenever we get a lead we immediately start running the clock down and stop attacking in the same way. Millwall, Leeds and Palace were classic example of these, in total ascendancy until we went ahead then just sat back and invited the attacks.

This is very possible as we have players returning to full fitness and the new loan signing to boost the team which could well be our strongest team this season, if the players are up for it this will be a cracking game.

tbh i noticed it last season too - we just sit back and too deep and let them come at us

This is not a game we cannot win.we need to be strong & play with confidence which may be easier said than done.
