A win on Monday against West Ham will take us up to 4th in the table from 12th. I am sure that Gus will be using this as a motivation and start a chase after Southampton with the match against them 4 weeks away.
Big ask mind.
We need to be more ruthless to take chances , in the last few games we haven't taken them and West Ham will definitely make us pay if we don't on Monday.
not sure we have created that many- which is more worrying
A win would be good, but I think it's unlikely.....and let's not bother too much at the moment about keeping up with Southampton!A win on Monday against West Ham will take us up to 4th in the table from 12th.
West Ham have a few injuries at the moment. If Buckley is fit we will win.

exactly , we get as far as the edge of the box and try to pass it in , I know it's probably all part of the big masterplan for Gus but we need to build leads rather then grab a goal and rely on it.
and whilst i am on a roll - we go too negative when we go up a goal

Totally this. Last season we were going and getting the second goal. This season whenever we get a lead we immediately start running the clock down and stop attacking in the same way. Millwall, Leeds and Palace were classic example of these, in total ascendancy until we went ahead then just sat back and invited the attacks.
Just seen that myself, Matt Taylor, Carlton Cole, Lansbury all out.
Turnaround in our fortunes hopefully.
