I think even if/when Richards leaves it will take a freak amount of injuries for Mayo to play again. Rents and Lynch are definitely ahead of him, El-Abd has played leftback ahead of him, Cobbs is coming through. I'd pick him over El-Abd but that's it.
He's been a great servant and all that, but it's been a while coming. He'd have been released in the summer if our hands weren't tied.
