True but do we know if this is true or not?
Also if it is noone knows what went on behind the scenes?

As always there is more to it than meets the eye im sure. We just have to rely on rumour and gossip.

Hey why not ask the club? :)

How?
If they are not good enough to be in the squad on footballing merit why should they be in it for being Hart and Mayo?
totally correct, they are not good enough
hart maybe a decent player for certain games

i.e saturday for the last 25 mins maybe

but not on a regular basis

as for mayo how he has continully got a contract over the last 5 years is a mystery to me

I heard on Saturday that he was not training with the first team squad...

Maybe true, maybe not...but if it is its a shame.

None of the reserve team do. They train seperately.

I've heard from a friend of Kerry's that he doesn't think he'll ever play for Brighton again.

Stupid fcuking contract forced the 1-year extension... we are unfortunately lumbered with an unnecessary salary... only in a MAJOR injury crisis...

Really?

Would think the professionals generally train together, although specialist training for defenders etc would be done in smaller groups.
i find that hard to believe as well

how do you decide if say tommy fraser, nathan elder, jake ect who play regularly for the reserves but also feature in the first team are 1st teamers or reserves?

never heard of training seperatly anywhere

maybe in the few days before a game players not involved might train seperatly but surely the train as a group

I pray every day and every night that he will not, and I have faith in Wilkins to believe that he will not let this catastrophe loose on our team again. In a way, it's a shame though, as bar El Abd there is no real figure of ridicule in the team this season, and although that sounds bad I do enjoy the sheer bewilderment and anger in the Withdean crowd after a Mayo cock-up.

I think that it is an absolute disgrace that you can sit behind a computer key board like a big man and offer such ridicule to some body who has served this club well. He may not be the best player we have now but he still deserves a lot better than that.

Would you be such a big man to his face? I doubt it very much.

I would say that we have some of the best defensive players at the club for several years, therefore we are only likely to call on Kerry in an emergency, as the season progresses there is a fair chance that he will play again...unless of course the manager would rather play just about anyone else to ensure that he doesn't reach whatever the figure is to trigger another contract offer. Sadly it would appear that this is his last season with us, I would thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future, despite the often derisive comments I will remember him as a player who always tried his hardest for the team.
