Couldn't beat a team with 10 men for over an hour, a good goalkeeping prospect throws in a transfer request less than a week after he takes charge, crowds down by over 1000 for a local derby, Stokes not even on the bench.

Wilkins out

Well it was. It was in Hampshire and a neighbour. Now it's in Dorset.

In the early 70's Bournemouth was one of the BIG games of the season. Both home and away. "SuperMac - SuperQueer - How many bums have you had this year".

Neither could Millwall. At least we came back from a deficit and got something out of the game.

Hendo having a hissy fit and slapping in a transfer request is hardly the fault of Wilkins. Most players take it on the chin and battle for their place back, but if Hendo is giong to be a big girls BLOUSE over it, thats his lookout and not Deano's fault.

Not sure how "local" you could describe Bornmuff, on a Tuesday night. And whats Wilkins supposed to do about it ? Walk round Churchill Square all day with a bell and a sandwich board to get people to turn up ?
Stokes not even on the bench.
Stokes has been gash. He's done nothing all season. Might as well give one of our own kids a chance in the team than one of West Hams.

I'm not sure Deano is even `in` yet to get out: but based on last night, I think we should keep searching for a manager. That first half was among the worst football I've seen in 30+ years of watching them. No inspirational tactics, too many long balls, little movement, nothing new at all. Better after the break but still the old problems remain and a lack of real football - last seen under Mickey Adams. How the hell I'm going to persuade my young lad that his future lies in supporting this club when they play like that is beyond me. Sorry, I'm a die-for-the-club supporter - but last night was dreadful.

That's perspective for you. I thought there were plenty of grounds for optimism, and there was a fight and togetherness in the team which was hitherto lacking over the past year.

Wilkins has had TWO working days with which to work on training with his squad and put down his own ideas, and they're not going to go too mad today. Give him a break.

Being second stringer at a League 1 club can't be good for his international prospects. Never mind, ship him out and take whatever we can get for him.

Perhaps he is concerned that McGoo's leaving means that Mich is going to be top choice as he has been around longest. Whatever, not really concerned. Still got to work on the back four, but I think that Wendy will do well.

Many of this is true , last night was awful . Nothing up front, midfield lost & vulnerable at the back . Very Bad indeed
