Sometimes it's heartbreaking - 1st 20 mins against Millwall at home and pretty well all the final against Notts County

Other times it's ectasy - from the moment we equalised against Millwall at home and the whole of the away game.

Just ecstasy this time please :clap2: :clap2:

I remember the home Millwall game well. I was in the north east terrace and there were a fair few Millwall supporters in there. Not really hoolies but enough to make me think. First Albion goal I sort of went "yep", 2nd goal went "hooray", 3rd goal cheered and 4th went bananas - they'd all but gone by then.

The final was a major downer though - that prized a grade twat Ellery screwed it for us. Great sight though of thousands of Albion at Wembley seriously outnumbering the county fans.

Same here! I remember us being kept in after the final whistle while the Police tried to disperse the Millwall fans, but that didn't stop them from lighting fires on the terraces!

The final was was so disappointing. We went with such enthusiasm and hope, but left feeling gutted when we were beaten by Notts County - but look at where they are now. I just hope we can get to Cardiff for another final and come away as victors this time. However, even if we lose again, at least it will be great to have got there rather than fall at the final hurdle in the semis. Fingers crossed all round! Can't wait!

That bonfire, I remember, was actually started using a policeman's helmet. They were absolute nutters with no fear of the coppers at all. Lobbed a few large rocks over the wall at us while we were hanging about too.

Went to Millwall (H) in the North Stand - superb, went nuts etc.

Got a ticket for the final V Notts County curtesy of a mates sister who worked for NOBO.

My second Albion/Wembley disappointing experience. :(

For those that haven't experienced the above or Doncaster/Hereford etc., expect to feel physically sick hours before kick-off.

Only went to the final last time. Was only 6 at the time but I remember listening to the home leg in some country park somewhere but nothing of the away.

Went to all 3 games. The home leg was just amazing how we tore them apart. We were just happy to get out of the away leg alive !! I can remember being in no rush to leave the ground afterwards !!! Can still remember that fire on the terrace too.

The final was an anti climax but looking back a good day out. It was a real choker and I was very anti social (more than usual!!) at work the next day. That :censored: :censored: wheelbarrow song pissed me off too!!

The Millwall infiltration of the North Stand was quite intimidating to start with and shut us up until the goals started going in.

Final itself was a great day out but somehow you just knew it wasn't going to be our day.

Funniest thing was seeing the TV coverage in which Dean Wilkins was in tears and saying how bad it felt to lose 3-0. Then he was reminded that it was 3-1. And that he'd scored.

Wasn't the Millwall bonfire a 'celebration' of their last ever match at The Den? Or am I going mad?

Final only in 91.

Ended up in a pub before the game where that Paul Scarrett guy who was a Notts Forest fan and had been banned from any football match for ever was drinking with his mates.

I think he'd been on a documentary the week before as the UK's worst hooligan.

The OB turned up dogs and the lot just as he turned over an Off licence down the road.

Great sight... Northern tosser running into Green Park carring a case of lager and being chased by a dozen coppers.

Oh and the game was shit but a good day out.
