Born hospital near Brighton Railway station lived in Portslade Mile Oak pro Brighton Hove Albion thanks to my uncle who took me to my first game. He surported Brighton before the war and was born in India.

With a name like De la zouch, I guess that you are from Ashby. Surely Burton or Derby is closer than Nottingham? Then again, I would opt for Forest over either of those two.

Non league Worthing, League club Brighton but my mum came from Brighton to Worthing after grandad left Preston Barracks. She lived in Riley Rd.


I did support Worthing as a young lad on alternate Saturdays and fondly remember the likes of Reg Bowles Norman Martin Jim Punter David and Alf Bloom.
Denis Wiltshere? a winger from Petworth way I wonder if any are still with us now.
