FFS take Dave Peasant off. . . .

Joe Corrigan was better.

I voted Perry DIgweed, BUt Eric Steele was my fave as a kid, and John Keeley is up there too. . .
Was Moseley/Steele, in the latter half of 70s when I first started going.

Whilst accepting the level wasn't as high as today, I still rate Johnny Keeley near top. The old tip toeing big arse, was a brilliant keeper for the level we were at, and I loved watching that team with Garry Nelson / Kevin Bremner in the old Goldstone North Stand.

Keeley just edges it over FDM as my favourite keeper with Beeney in third.

Also a special mention for USA international Tony Meola, just for the fun of that brief stint with us.

Eric Steele. As well as his Groucho impressions, he once entertained us by walking on his hands, and I seem to remember him hiding the ball up his jumper and the ref not knowing where it was. Such a great character.

We have been blessed with some good keepers. In my view Keeley just beats Kuipers with about 5 others in the mix.

Mark Beeney? Didn't he go to leeds for big money? The only keeper to since Sanchez?

If you were in the North you would have been lucky if Bremner hadn't knocked out your false teeth with the odd shot.

In the absence of these, Will Packham, and Florent Chaigneau, I’ll go for the Former Dutch Marine (chef)!
when Chaigneau was with us I once saw him out clubbing in Brighton. He was chain smoking (pre smoking ban) and had about 5 women constantly grinding on him

what was the deal with Nicky Rust? He was a fairly promising keeper wasn't he but lost his place to Ormerod and that was basically it?

Why the big drop off?

The best individual keeping performance I think I ever saw for the Albion, was by John Sullivan in a 0-0 draw at Leicester (the game where the Albion had to wear the Leicester away kit because of a clash, and Adams gave an interview afterwards saying the players had 'really fought for the shirt").

John Keeley is the only one I have had a pint with. Fairly late on New Years' Eve 1987 in the Stadium Tavern.

Next morning I watched him save a penalty at Craven Cottage. My mate didn't make it, as he had a hangover.
Sounds like Keelo, was he on Fosters top ?

Eric for me.

Loved Perry but the love is not both ways. Oof, he does not like the Albion.
