Brighton factually.....
Bumped into Pete Smith in New Eltham, whilst walking across New Eltham park to my university lecture (he signed a little while later).

Bumped into John Bryne at worthing hospital, he casted my feet.

Bumped into Charlie Oatway at a pub in Arundel chewed his ear off for half an hr - poor bloke - scored an own goal at Exeter just wanted to be left alone I think.
Alrighty, Mr Bump

I’ve seen various players and managers at supermarkets around hove.

Waitrose: Solly, Hurzler
Tesco: Veltman
Gruda: Lidl

A while ago now I walked into the palmera and Dunk, Duffy, Steele and Gross were in there drinking.

Bumped into Lallana and Gross playing golf at west hove.

The strangest though was bumping into Jeff Minton on a beach in Portugal in the summer of 98. My Dad knew Jeff pretty well and we stopped and had a chat for 5/10 minutes. Before heading on our way.

Just remembered, a few years ago my mates' band had booked a Sunday afternoon at the Electric Studios in Lewes Rd for a family gig afternoon where they played and then his son's band played (although his son is also currently the drummer in his band, confusingly. Anyway, I digress).

In the audience, having a little boogy was Adam El-Abd.

Man, that feller is HENCH.

Working in a "higher end" retailer I've seen Adam Webster, Jason Steele and Jack Hinshelwood (with his Dad)

Webster & Steele were collecting "click & collect" parcels and the Hinshelwoods were splashing the cash in the nursery section

John Robinson and his mum came to look round my house when it was on the market 30 odd years ago. I had my ‘Brighton on tour’ Union Jack up in the bedroom. It was slightly awkward. He didn’t buy my home 😔

Hardly a strange place but I've seen a few Albion players in Preston Park - Big Dan Burn couldn't have been lovelier as he posed for pictures with my son and nieces. A few years back, Undav and Gross walked past just as I was rifling a volley past my then 7 year old son, which was met by raised eyebrows and nods of appreciation, I think even heard one of them mutter 'sign him up' in German.
