Are other non-parachute monied Championship clubs struggling for new ex-PL players or quality players in general this Summer?
I genuinely haven't looked.
The likes of Ipswich, Leeds, S.Weds who get good gates like us.
I have a feeling that as PL money rises exponentially, their managers/scouts partly thrive in recruitment by looking at the moves other clubs are making then jump in with far better wages on offer. This would apply to parachute monied clubs too. The gap and power over the other clubs is growing.

The "sauce" that told you he had passed a medical he didn't turn up for, had signed , and was on his way to Birmingham? Not sure I would believe them if I were you.
