If we 'upgrade' to Nike/Adidas/Puma etc in the future, ie one of the big brands, our kit will have 'ironed on' sponsors logos etc, as that's what they all do now.

So potentially, the new home kit will be the last for a while with an integrated, non-ironed sponsor logo ?

This of course depends on whether the club opt for a "big" name brand to replace Errea, or go with a smaller brand, if we move to Nike or Adidas etc then yes, we'll have ironed on sponsors. Arguably, the big name brands might be better at "heat pressing" sponsor logos onto their shirts, though I doubt there is any difference. As it is, 95% or more of the big teams have heat pressed sponsor logos on their Nike/Adidas/Puma kits, albeit, they might have bespoke designs like United, Chelsea, Liverpool etc.

The thing is, for the top EPL teams, they can guarantee massive worldwide sales, so can demand good prices frrom the manufacturers, therefore protecting their profit margins. For teams like the Albion, we can't guarantee massive worldwide sales, hence we'd have to go down the template route to get anything like a decent profit margin from sales.

So, if we want bespoke, it pretty much has to be a smaller brand, as they will be keen to add us to thier customer base, ala Errea. If we want gear made by a huge global brand (what's wrong with Nike?) then we have to accept we might be wearing the same kit as the Dog & Duck 1st XI, complete with ironed on sponsors. If that happens, then people are going to have to get their mums to read the washing instructions more carefully.
