Ridiculous that I'm from the North West of England and never got to see them back in the day, you just knew that you would get around to see them fairly shortly and of course it didn't happen. In spells as it’s so incredibly long, I’m wading my way through Hookie’s second autobio Substance.

Plenty of The Hacienda tales, pre and during Ecstasy eras. I love both New Wave and dance music, so visiting in either would’ve been right up my street and my mates. But being in Brighton, we didn’t even think about making the effort. Wish we had.
