I was really into The Cure when they started out, then I discovered other bands I thought were better.
After seeing the Hyde Park Anniversary film I thought Wow so now I am catching up on all the songs I missed
The new album sounds interesting, not sure when the release date is yet
Prompted by HWT's post about Leslie West I had to re-post this vid featuring Leslie and Peter Frampton 7 years ago. Leslie was pushing 70 and had not long had a leg amputated, he came on stage in an electric wheelchair with a portable oxygen supply (just in case!) and did this.
I always read the comments on YouTube and this one summed up Leslie West perfectly,

Showing my age here, but I saw them at The Rainbow, Finsbury Park. Must have been 1971. They were promoting 'Flowers of Evil'. Wishbone Ash were the support act. They'd just won the sounds magazine best newcomer award! Corky Laing was simply amazing and Felix Pappalardi hadn't been shot by Gail Collins.
