Reminded by an old GF the other day of a dish I used to spoil her with before getting my wicked way.

Tuna Fish Bake:

Mash Potatoes. Steam and then mash with milk and a little butter or low-fat spread.

Add required amount of tuna fish (of your choice- in brine or oil but strain first most of the liquid, leaving fish moist. No guys we're still talking food). Mix tuna into mash potato and then put into oven or under grill until there is a golden crust.

Topping. I generally use a grated 'seriously strong cheddar' and then grill for a further couple of mos until cheese is melted.

Can be eaten with baked beans for energy. Or with a salad. Or with greens such as brocolli or cauliflower or a savoy cabbage or spinach.

Take your choice..............

Microwavable kebabs out of Unwins Food & Wine. Two kebabs to the pack, and a seperate sachet of chilli sauce. Good in the event of post-pub emergency. Has to be said they do taste a tad cardboardy tho, get the feeling that if you kept a bit of the chilli sauce back, you could probably eat the box too.

???!!!!!! Blimey............ why not mate?.................. there hasn't been rationing since the late 1940's.

I hadn't really considered it until my girlfriend said something.

Then it was all explained when she told my mum that I had eaten my first orange at the age of twenty five, to which my mum replied: "Urgh, oranges, disgusting things!"

Explains it all really...

It contains a fat-burning enzyme, apparently, called bromalyn. It's also in strawberries and boosts your sex drive...

Could all be utter bollocks, of course. But I have never gone to the toilet more frequently or productively, so that's something.

That's very true! I thought the train was developing a fault until I realised it was your snoring.

Cuy (Guinea Pig) is fairly nice, although there's fugger all meat on the little bastards, which is suprising, because they look quite fat ... Also tried Donkey and Alpaca, which were quite pleasant.

Bromalyn is just a chemical that aids digestion, syrup of figs will do the job better and not rot your green teeth as much. all you are losing is stomach content weight, about 3 kebabs?:lolol:

I had those when I was in Peru last year. Alpaca was very tasty but didn't think much to cuy.

Where are you?
