So you're Jones, from Indiana?

Yes, not to be confused with

I sat through 'Megalopolis'

Should have left.

After 10 minutes.

Was better than 'Hector and the search for happiness'

Most recently it was Wes Anderson's Asteroid City. It was beautifully shot, the odd 1 minute scene here and there that was interesting but mostly absolute piffle. I'm sure I have seen others but that is my most recent waste of time.
This. I guess I just really don't get Wes Anderson because I honestly don't think I've enjoyed any of his movies. And Asteroid City was the worse. It's all style over substance. I was waiting for it to start actually making sense, but it never did. Plus it's another of those self indulgent stories about storytelling. Utter tosh.

But it did have Scarlett Johansson with her top off. So...8 out of 10.

Love Michael Mann's films.
Love the tv series Miami Vice.
Love Michael Mann's work on the tv series Miami Vice.
Couldn't get out of the cinema quick enough at the end of Michael Mann's Miami Vice movie. Insufferably dull.
Was about 20 years ago, maybe should give it another chance.

I wouldn't. Still bad.

The Lego Movie.

Took my son and his mate. For some reason the baddie terrified my boy. Couldn’t leave because his mate was loving it.

Also watched Barbie (at home) with the Mrs and found myself phone scrolling whenever she wasn’t going to notice. Critically acclaimed it might be but what a load of bollocks.

So, basically, any large Technicolor advert for a toy company masquerading as a movie.

When my boy was about 4 me and him sat bored shitless throughout the newly released ‘Frozen’.
I remember thinking ‘kin ‘ell Disney have done their money on this one.
I have seen BITS of Frozen 774 times, as has anyone with a daughter my girl’s age.

I have never actually seen it through from start to finish.

The Phantom Menace - Just awful - basically a cartoon with dialogue written by a 4 year old.
Thought it was shit at the time for sure but I recently watched it with my son and quite enjoyed it

Darth Maul is a cool baddie and the 3 way fight near the end is good, Liam Neeson is good, pod racing is cool. It's better than the next two Star Wars films anyway, especially Episode 2 which was going to be my submission on this thread. Mind numbingly dull

I Heart Huckabees. Got in to watch it for free and I still think I over paid.
I enjoyed that but haven't seen it for years. I remember the screening I was at about 25% of the audience walked out after 20 minutes

Blades of Glory - friends had raved about it, telling me how funny it was.

sat and watched it, thinking the funny bits must be coming up soon! I watched, and watched and watched, then the titles came up... 90 minutes of my life, gone, just like that.*

*must be how Palace fans feel most weeks! 🤣 **

So many, but The Tourist was the first that sprang to mind.
Johnny Depp has gotten progressively worse throughout his career.

Then there's every Christmas movie my Mrs and Daughter put on Netflix, in the run up to Christmas.

Top of the bad films that I love, and will sit all the way through every time it's on. (very, very rarely)
Tom Selleck in Mr Baseball. as formulaic a sports movie as you will ever see, but I love it.

Recently, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Absolutely dire.

Some that I recall are the Nicholas Cage rapture plane film thing that was previously mentioned by another poster. Awful.

Sound Of Freedom I think was another one, Jim Caviezel and possibly Mel Gibson.

From a while back those House of a thousand corpses films with Rob Zombie. Terrible.

Nativity 3. Was a press freebie thankfully, but my goodness this was a painful watch. Cinema seemed to be full of increasingly bored kids and parents looking at their watches. Cast is like a who’s who of British TV, but what an utter waste.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice was terrible - but as a fan of the original, I accepted it.
Whatever magic, Tim Burton once had, appears to have completely left him.

My kids are grown up now, but we still do the occasional family Cinema trip.
The last two have been Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice and the last Bridget Jones movie.

Both a complete mess. It's possible both were written by AI.
