I don't think he will ever be suited to our 'style' of play and sometimes players just dont click with a club. CMS is a great workhorse but lets not kid ourselves he was purchased to score a lot more goals than he has achieved this season. It wouldn't shock me to see CMS handing in a transfer request.

either a better strike partner or better set ups from mid feild.

hes expectedto do so much on his own and never gets played alongside strong up front support.

for example one time recently he was played alongside lua lua, he scored. Shame they just NEVER get put together.

Would love CMS to score on SAT, because the stadium would go fing mental and it would put the demons to bed.

Confidence. He just needs some self belief. Maybe next season will be a fresh start for him and he will put in the sort of performance that made us excited we were signing him.

A proven strike partner - A proven strike partner may take the pressure off, but I don't think pressure is the problem. If it was, the odd goals he scored through the season should have eased the pressure
Better service from better midfielders - May help, but he hasn't been short of opportunities to score, he just hasn't converted the
Balls over the top rather than 100% on the floor - I don't get this. There seems to be an attitude that we're not providing the sort of chance that result in him being one on one with the keeper, yet, when he came to us one-on-ones were said to b his biggest weakness, and he hasn't really done anything to dispel that this season.
Just not good enough & sell on - I still believe he has the quality, he just hasn't had the confidence to unleash it. Fresh start next summer and he will perform, imo.

Wouldn't sell him. He needs to improve his game a little - better runs - and he needs the service of decent balls played through (not put over the top)

He needs to figure out for himself how HE can fit into a position and link up to score goals.
All this idea about getting him a strike partner is well off the mark. Since when do we pander to professional strikers to try and accomodate their failures to make the grade for themselves?

Since we splash out £3.25 million for them....I think this is the dilemma. If we were to sell on i'd be surprised if we recouped half of the outlay. So if we stick with him, which I think we should. We need to find the best way to utilize him.
