What does a 40% draw rate say about the team?

We've drawn a lot of games we would have lost last season, so its progress and improvement. As it stands won 40% drawn 40% lost 20%. Had we had Ulloa and Upson in August think we would have got auto

We must be doing something right as the table shows us that over the season there are only 3 teams better than us, for that's all that counts. However I do wonder what would of happened if just 3 of those draws were wins
