What do you consider to be the best ever Pop song and Album

Fantastic Album!! Certainly the best of his and one of the best ever!!

Weird, isn't it? I love Stevie W and I'd consider Songs In The Key Of Life one of his worst albums. Bloated and well short of the ground-breaking inspiration on his three great early 70s albums - Music Of My Mind, Talking Book and Innervisions.

But Waterloo Sunset is up there in the top few.

Tough to beat that duo TB, but for me:-
Single - toss the coin between Gangsters and Down in the Tube Station at Midnight
Album - I can't call it between Parallel Lines, Unknown Pleasures, Sandanista and the first Stone Roses and Smiths albums
