Marmite is food of the gods. Significantly better than that Vegemite shit the Aussies insist on providing.

Mix a good sized spoonful into baked beans for a tasty and protein packed treat.

Spread on a nice thick crumpet. Yum.

oh no, on toast on its own is DRY.

it needs some MELTED cheese.

Marmite MUST be combined with plenty of butter to reach it's full potential. The crumpet idea Bozza puts forward is the best. Plenty of butter and marmite on a hot crumpet is enough to send shivers down one's spine.

Crumpets are the best - their deep holes turn into nothing short of Marmite RESERVOIRS.

Care is required with the crumpet option as it melts very quickly and drains through the bottom of the crumpet before you can say "what's that gooey brown shit all over my jeans".

Marmite is great with couscous - it makes a tasty and quick snack for even the most discerning of individuals.

In the old days, the jars used to have metal lids and they uses to have the words about adding a spoon of marmite to help make tasting soups and tempting stews

mmmmmmmmmmmmm

I have the cookbook already. It's very interesting but I still prefer Marmite on buttered toast!

I have been advised that Marmite mixed with Peanut Butter makes a very acceptable alternative although I have yet to verify this.

Indeed.

Also one can smother one's privates with the black goo, hamg 'em over the garden fence and invite the next door neighbours dog to lick it off.
