I brought my step son to the Everton game, we counted the steps from the turnstiles to WSU concourse (North entrance) - 123.

Then to my seat in the back row of W3H (next to TV camera) is at least another 30 I think - didn't count that bit!

I know it isn't for everyone, but I love the view from up there. And have a decent group of people around us that have been fairly consistent for the last few seasons. No annoying people, and some good humour.

In 2010/11/12 I took part in a 'Vertical Rush' event up Tower 42 in London. 42 floors and 932 steps - my PB (2011) being 8 minutes 7 seconds (I came 375th out of 882 people). My heart rate was in the high 180s after just a few floors as I was going for it. Whilst recovering at the top I tasted blood on my chest. I wasn't alone in that thankfully. All in aid of the charity Shelter ... a worthy cause

I'm in the North but when I've gone west upper I've gone up the stairs and in the middle one! Doh!
I suppose it depends where in the WSU you sit, if your seat is towards the south end it would make sense to go up the steps and go to the middle stairs to the WSU, this would save walking through the packed concourse.
The concourse at both ends is narrow and isn’t a good design having a kiosk at the top of the stairs.

Welcome.
Another W3D here.
Decent atmosphere most of the time.
Great view, but no avoiding those killer steps I’m afraid! 😥
Don’t let the old boy from near the back who constantly moans get to you.
FORWARDS! FORWARDS!
The very first pass that goes sideways or backwards you’ll hear him.
It starts with a NO!!
Followed by a NO!! NO!!! NO!!!!
I’ve learnt to ignore him, it’s only taken me 4 years. 👍
Or the 'WE HATE PALACE' guy. Shouts it out randomly during each game.

Just look at your feet and walk up and don't look up and see how many you have left to climb....you will soon be up there in no time (W3F here)

I’m very ocd on counting steps and it is psychologically easier breaking down each flight. The South end is 4x12 then 2x11 then 2x13

Just completed on the club web-site. Going to the WSU, having been WSL since the AMEX opened, time for a change.
With the lad, got us in W3G about half way up, row Q on the left end as you look at the map.
Looking forward to a better view of the game.
I’m in that general area. Wouldn’t change it for anything. Great view of everything all over the pitch.

I'm in F. A great view. Especially to see tactics and the game unfold. I tend to not really like being lower down or at and angle. I can't see what going on.
