Surely if coming from Falmer Station (and buses from Brighton etc) you have to walk up all the steps outside the stadium to get round to the South end entrance?
I always do a loop around clockwise when arriving from the station before the great ascent to the WSU via the shorter staircase. Mainly to listen to and to laugh at any quaint/amusing regional accents outside the away end.

I’ve moved from East Upper to West Lower. W1H. I sat there once for a cup game and liked the view. I did sit in West Upper one season and thought of moving back but as I’m now officially an old person, I can see a time when those stairs will become a nuisance so have opted for Lower.
And I've just changed my mind again! Instead of West Lower (W1H), I've decided to stick with EU but shift along to E3D, nearer to the halfway line than where I was. I was a bit worried that Row R wasn't high enough in the West Lower.

Just been kicked out of East Stand Lower family stand. Would like to think it is because my daughter is a hoolie, but more than likely because she is now 18. We have moved to WSU bock W3D Row D so looking forward to being a WSU Banker
Welcome.
Another W3D here.
Decent atmosphere most of the time.
Great view, but no avoiding those killer steps I’m afraid! 😥
Don’t let the old boy from near the back who constantly moans get to you.
FORWARDS! FORWARDS!
The very first pass that goes sideways or backwards you’ll hear him.
It starts with a NO!!
Followed by a NO!! NO!!! NO!!!!
I’ve learnt to ignore him, it’s only taken me 4 years. 👍

That sounds like the old boy who used to sit a few rows behind me in W3A.
I wondered where he had gone.

Not me I’m afraid. I’m somewhere at the back of W3D and I’m full of positive vibes! I do let out a few FFS!! when we’re 1-0 up and the defensive back passes are about to be picked off by the opposition. Other than that it’s all sweetness and light from yours truly.

I brought my step son to the Everton game, we counted the steps from the turnstiles to WSU concourse (North entrance) - 123.

Then to my seat in the back row of W3H (next to TV camera) is at least another 30 I think - didn't count that bit!

I know it isn't for everyone, but I love the view from up there. And have a decent group of people around us that have been fairly consistent for the last few seasons. No annoying people, and some good humour.

Must be very dissapointed when Liverpool or United are in town. 99% of their fans sound more southern than I do.

Half way up the WSU (north) stairs there are doors to the 1901 club, l'm sure PB, with careful consideration, could make this a stop as another drinking hole for us dehydrated folk.
I did a season in W3I, was always surprised they didn’t put on a couple of sofas on the landing there

I always stop there and pretend I've got a phone call so I can take a breather
