Well done Chris Hughton.

Great line up tonight. Our only 2 natural strikers on the bench. 1 striker up top (at home). Also well done Lewis Dunk, another 10/10 performance. It was a coup keeping hold of that lad.

Agree that Hughton takes the blame for tonight along with Dunk. Why not start with Bobby rather than (or as well as) Hemed? Makes absolutely no sense. We surely should play with two strikers at home anyway?

Couldn't agree more.

Wouldn't be surprised to see kevtherev around as well.
Plenty of Palace fans come out of the woodwork on Twitter tonight, and loads of Derby County fans after their massive result at Leeds.

That's not very nice.

And your original comments were ?

We're down to the bare bones of the squad due to injuries, but we are 4th in the league, 5 points from the top spot and having lost just 2 games all season and players like Dunk, which you have decided to criticise, have played a part in getting us into this great position at this point in the season but that apparently isn't good enough.

We need fans who will get behind our players, whoever is selected and for whatever reason rather than some who seem more like glory hunters, and anything less isn't enough. - Please don't let the door hit you on the way out

I'm happy where we are in the table. [emoji106]

Played the right formation I thought. Deserved a point and dominated large periods of the game. Apart from that, and the fact there were 7 or 8 first teamers out I agree - Hughton out.

Either Wilson was fit and so should have started or he wasnt and shouldnt have been on the bench.

He's been ill so his energy level would have been depleted. We have another game in three days so trying to conserve energy for that one as well. The same goes for Zamora.

It's not surprising the names that pop up when things go a bit wrong. The same people who can't wait to get their knives into the manager, team or an individual player.

You're always first to knee jerk moan after a loss. You're like the two old men of the muppets in the balcony. Waldorf?

A very good post. Unless we win every game and there are no mistakes there will always be those that enjoy reveling when we lose....which with a decimated squad now is twice in fairly quick succession, obviously cheered some sad acts up though.

Don't think Hughton deserves sarcasm or stick but I do think he got it wrong tonight - both sides playing versions of 4-5-1 played far more into Ipswich's hands as the team looking to deaden the tempo of the game and wait for mistakes

Not seen the OP on NSC much this season. We've not lost very often either. Could the two issues be connected?
