Said this before, but considering we have dished out far more expensive contracts for perma-injured Ex Liverpool players, Webby deserves a new 5 year deal.I’ll say it for the second time on this thread…..
CLASS IS PERMANENT
Give him a new contract, leads by example, organises the defence, great leader.
Three things which used to set him back were 1) Always a mistake in him 2) Took him a few games to get up to speed 3) injury prone.Webster was outstanding today. Much improved player.
Sorry, for a moment I thought I was back on the Trent threadIt seems VERY odd we'd let his contract run this far down without offering him something new.
Are we sure (and I genuinely don't know the answer to this) that we haven't got an option for another year for him?It seems VERY odd we'd let his contract run this far down without offering him something new.
I do wonder what Dunk makes of their comparative stats this year. Can’t be good for his self-confidence.Just seen this on FB:
ADAM WEBSTER 2024/25 :

1) and 2) seem to have disappeared. Whilst he has just come back from injury, he was only out for a few weeks and came back without issue and player a full game. He also, literally, looks a different player.…looks lean, a bit more muscular and determined. Long love Webster v2.0
