Definitely one of the reasons why Barnes was so impressive today.
The guy is so much more skillful and aware than CMS. Also gives us a great aerial presence and isn't exactly a slouch. I would like to see him played with CMS though to see if they'd work well together although no one should displace Barnes from the team on current form.

In the last few days of the transfer market, when it all goes mad. I can see CMS leaving the Albion. Pity I rate the fella!

There was a point fairly early in the second half, on our right hand side just inside the Arsenal half where he picked up the ball and showed amazing close control to take it past 3 Arsenal players in a very tight area, and win the foul. Technically fantastic.

I'd still love another pacey finisher alongside Ulloa, like Vydra at Watford. CMS isn't good enough and Barnes isn't that sort of player. I don't think Dobbie and Hoskins are quick enough.
