I did think that, but manufacturers can offer warrantees separate of retailers, so as long as you check, you'll be fine.

I would look at getting John Lewis 'never knowingly undersold' to match the price you find elsewhere for a model they stock, as I think they usually offer a 5 year guarantee for some kitchen appliances.

And go through Quidco first before buying (cashback site).

So you can get JL to price match, and then buy through Quidco - or is it one or the other?
