I think that it is a good idea. I have never put anyone on ignore and long may he stay that way. However some users do wind me up when then feel the need to make at least 5 replies to every thread. And before I get flamed with something along the lines of if you do not like it, stick me on ignore, why should I have to put someone on ignore when it is them that is posting the crap.
And your first reply to this thread sums it up exactly. You're polluting this board, taking up space and time i can never get back.
Problem is, even if we split the board (and taking NF9's 1st reply as an example) it wouldn't 'go in' to 'Rambling's' due to it being a reply to a sensible subject..

To be honest I am a bit 'bothered'. I don't want anyone to think this is NSC bullying or a witch hunt, Just my observations.
Your football posts are informed & as valid as anyone elses, however what I find a bit annoying is your compulsion to reply to every thread as fact, whether or not you know anything about the subject or not.
I first noticed when a new poster asked what REMF was, instead of waiting for somebody who knew what they were talking about, your immediate reply was to inform us all that it was the Robert Easton memorial fund, well thanks for that info
You were in the pub when we played the Argies in 98? mmm *strokes chin*
& then the barrier reef thing last night when you had the audacity to call our very own Dame Edna of Krabapple a plank

30 Odd actually, and why am I not banned then is it against the rules, as I've asked before if it is I will cut down but seen as this is a message board im pretty convinced im allowed to post what I want beyond reason.
