Absolutely - you should hear the noise she makes when she eats a boiled egg.
And also whats the point of shopping - you get there and wheel your trolley round gradually realising that there is actually no point in buying anyhting other than booze.
All those lovely meals you want to make and then think what the bloody helpp is the pont if spending time in the kitchen creating something - to then sit and scof it down at the the table with no conversation or staring at the T V.
Oh crap its the weekend tomorrow and two days of no food ;(

I second Laura's hemming web suggestion. You can buy it in Woolies. For the shepherds pie, have you tried putting bacon in with the mince? I do that with lasagne and it's great!
For the towels - a tumble dry makes them fluffy. Or just keep buying new ones

trouser leg on suit trousers - stiching comes out from the turn up inside and then flaps down - don;t know how to stich / sew it back properly.
Buy some wundaweb iron-on hem tape. You can get it in Woolies or Sainsbury's on the rack where they sell needles, pins etc. However sewing will last longer and really isn't hard, men just like to pretend it is.
Buying towels - why can;t I buy decent towels - why do they never come out of the washing machine all warm and fluffy.
Wait for the warmer weather and hang them outside if you can. Christy's (Debenhams) are the only brand worth buying.
Making Shepherds Pie - crap - tastes dull and bland.
Bit of Lea and Perrins or Soy Sauce.
Realising that hal your nice clothes are hand-wash only - ignoring it and then finding out that it will only fit Dean Cox.
You don't need to wash anything higher than 40 degrees - think of the planet!
DiY - no problems - making the home homely - rubbish. May as well go and live in a hotel.
Try to put stuff away, run the hoover round when you notice it and buy a bunch of flowers once a week, preferably something that smells nice. You'll feel much better about yourself. That's it really.

Attach a safety pin to the end of a bit of cord or elastic, stick it into the lining and see if you can get it round the clip, then pull through. Same trick works if you lose half your cord round a hood, pull it all out and attach the safety pin. It's then easier to 'feed' back round the hood.
