Upson worst ever England cenre back?

Upson chosen as one of the two worst ever centre backs to play for England on a programme that just finished on BBC3 (Englands worst ever football team), will probably be repeated at some point in the week. Mostly for his performance in the last world cup against Germany. Does he really deserve it? A lot worse out there.

Picking on England's last World Cup goalscorer seems a bit unnecessary. And besides, I'd argue that a fit Upson at his peak was better than three out for the four centre backs we're taking on the plane this time round.

Still, the real question is why would anybody be watching BBC Three?
