So this event will take place on 19th October the Friday before the Middlesborough game at a venue to be decided - so far we have had a suggestion of the huge curry house along Portland Road which I know is at the top of Reynolds Road. I have been there a few times and the food was good and they have a private room on the side which I think would be probably available if we book it up.

Another suggestion would perhaps be the Bali Brasserie which is underneath Kingsway Court on the seafront in Hove at the bottom of First Avenue (i think) and I know they do chinese and indian buffet style which is very good and I know TC the owner so he will look after us - there is also a large bar area there where we could all meet and mingle.

If anyone else has any suggestion for a venue bearing in mind it needs to seat about 40 odd give or take a few then please feel free to suggest.

I asked my wife if she thought Brighton and Hove is multicultural, and she said no. So don't worry, you're not the only one that's wrong. Perhaps the same as you, she was thinking of the lack of areas that are predominantly ethnic minority areas, but Brighton is described as a multicultural city.
