I recently went on the stadium tour. When we got to the away dressing room I asked the tour guide, 'can we see the exact spot from the infamous Palace playoff poo please?' He'd never heard of it... How? Surely he should know the lore of the stadium. Nice enough bloke, I'm not complaining about the tour. Just wanted to see the location of such a scandalous sh!^.

Did you sniff around the changing room to see if you could detect where it might have been left behind? Maybe a "shit" sniffing dog? Although I assume all dogs do that not only specially trained ones.

The exact spot in the dressing room may be harder to track than some imagine considering the dressing room has been cut in half to accommodate the Tunnel Club.

No it definitely happened and the perpetrator (poopertrator?) was the Palace coach driver who had to take an emergency shit when the kit man was getting the away changing room ready for the fateful evening’s game. This was confirmed by a Palace player at a testimonial dinner a few months later.Maybe the poo in the dressing room was a made up rumour and the club employee didn't know
I suspect that the actual mess made was probably exaggerated somewhat down the line between Holloway, Poyet and Poyet’s email to all club staff. Was probably no more than a few skids.
So the scoop on the poop was that it was less than a rush for the flush and more a shart on the part?
