Calms down a bit and he has all the attributes to be a right handful?

what was the rest of his game like in a non biased way, touch off the ball, positions, pace, control etc

Being fouled each time by that freak neanderthal with a skull cap didn't help

It will be for the best,he knows what to expect now, even if the rest of the Championship don't play like a league 2 side :lolol:

Can't be arsed to read the previous 3 pages but having just got back from the game (via the pub), Ulloa was completely the victim of a twat of a referee. There was a lot of tussling going on up front and every time the ref gave it against Ulloa. To the extent that we had to take him off to avoid the red. I thought his touch looked excellent. Just one of MANY ways the ref killed the game today - in this case taking our danger man out of the game.

GIVEN the refs decisions I could see how a Wednesday fan could think he was not good, but they would be wrong and I think he will prove them so.

The guy is not completely match fit as showed last week against Arsenal.
My one gripe with Gus and his team is playing players like Ulloa who come in and haven't played competitive football at
a high level for god knows how long and then even put them on the bench.
Yes he did well last week but it was his home debut and of course he would want to impress.
The poor lad was hanging out his arse a long time before they subbed him
This happened last year with Vicente.
Players at this level should be 100% fit to play from the start or even be on the bench !! IMHO

He was brilliant and if it wasn't for the non league ref being a completely incompetant wanker by blowing for fouls that his drug filled brain imagined then he would have shone brightly.

didn't see the game so don't know (radio commentators sounded fairly impressed with him) but what I do know is that we, football fans, generally know shit all about football.

Ulloa showed us what we have been missing. A forward who can hold the ball up and bring others into play. It was only his second game in this country. He was roughed up and didn't get a lot of protection but Welcome to the Championship. He can look after himself I am sure.

I did not go yesterday, but you do not become the highest scorer in the Spanish 2nd flight for being a useless lump. having seen th way he got goal side of the Arsenal defender last week and hold him off to get on the end of the cross was exactly. . . . EXACTLY what we have been looking for. IMO. I have no concerns here. Just need to get him fit enough for the way the game is played over here.
