I've looked at the latest polling - it's 55-45 for Ted. That was a negative and right now I need two positives, one to cancel out the negative and another one so I can have a positive.

Can I shock you? I like Father Ted, despite what I said earlier. At any one time I’ve got 3 Father Ted DVD’s in my flat.

Once in a generation a genius bursts onto the scene (Partridge). A bit more frequently a fairly gifted person wanders in and his name is Father Ted.
Stop getting polls wrong.
Father Ted was brilliant but so was Partridge it’s a difficult one this
Ted was very funny but owing to the death of Ted it provided a very limited run of episodes as such did it appear to be a limited edition treat plus it did not have a chance to become stale But I suspect it would have given time.
Partridge was probably the funniest of the two but definitely overstayed it’s sell by date.

Love them both. Agree this should be a semi final or final matchup.
IMO Ted has higher peaks in terms of specific funnier moments, (Kicking BB up the arse, the football match, Hitler impression, Richard Wilson, Speed 3 etc), but also a fair few dull episodes, whereas the writing in Partridge is more consistently funny throughout, in nearly every line of dialogue.
On that basis had to go for AP, also seeing as Ted has it wrapped up anyway.
