Not before it was seen/copied and bandied around everywhere, first.

So if someone saw it and tells you they saw it, would you believe it?

If you copy it and publish it again, there are algorithms that would have it removed on arrival. If various porn sites are able to do it with certain sex tapes, obviously governments/secret services could have the same done with various videos.

In the anarchy days of the Internet, I saw a lot of good UFO videos. They are all gone. All that is left are "shaky blurry low-quality" videos that fits the narrative you're supposed to buy - that there is no good video captures of these things.

how about multiple concurrent footage from different sources. like say the meteor over Russia few years ago.

the thing is if alien sightings are rare and remote, then lacking evidence is partially excusable (though why do military have so low spec cameras?). when they are supposed to be frequent sighting, thousands a day to reach a million in 50 years, there should be considerable evidence.

See my first point.

If someone technologically advanced enough to either go FTL or make inter dimensional jumps or cross universes, do you really think they’ll quake in terror at you proudly standing there holding up your oh so advanced mobile phone?

I would suggest if they can do all the above avoiding detection from people and their oh so advanced mobile phones would be childs play.

“I don’t believe in Aliens. Not real. No evidence lol.”

“Now excuse me whilst I go to pray to an invisible man in the sky keeping score. Oh your gods over there in your country? Complete and utter nonsense. Mine’s real. How dare you question it”.

Plenty of places for it to have been seen by a multitude, before it was removed.

The so-called 'good ones' were most likely outed as fakes - as they most certainly were.

I'll wait until proper evidence comes forward. Still, I guess it was (and remains) a relatively harmless hobby, but I wouldn't be holding my breath. :)

I don't believe in any god, either, though it makes for some great books and films, by all accounts.

But what evidence is there that they are anything but 'unidentified'? Nothing suggests they are alien in nature nor inter-dimensional....just....unidentified.

Quite. It’s unidentifiable, unexplainable. But there is undetermined evidence though, current and ex military testimonies, photos, videos and witness reports. It’s wrong to say there’s nothing.

It’s just not evidence to your liking. You want little green men in Times Square or a formal government announcement.

My take? I don’t know. But I sure wouldn’t rule anything out, I remain open minded.

It’s been a few hours since I contributed to this thread. Reading some of the subsequent posts has caused me to think that alternate realities are rather more likely and prevalent than I previously believed.

It's not a question of evidence 'to my liking', it's evidence that is without question/dispute/open to interpretation/flights of fancy....just...proper evidence.

Well the videos released by the military is pretty big. It’s fairly tantamount to evidence of craft of unknown origin.

It will always be "outed" as fake / CGI / photoshop, whatever. Manage to get a good video and it is too good, manage to get a bad one and it is too bad. Considering this, you'll obviously never find satisfying evidence. The only evidence that would be good enough would be if some authority told you "this is the evidence". Then the evidence, good or bad, will be good enough regardless of how you had considered it in the past. Thats how the majority functions.

It really isn't, and I wish it was....but it isn't. The only one that looks vaguely craft-like (over the water) looks more like a clay pigeon.

No, nothing at all suggests in any way, that there is evidence of alien visitors.

As I say, I really wish there was.
